Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Whoopsy-daisy! We had a fucky-wucky and lost a $100 million war toy! We’re a smol bean, can we get some help finding it pwease? uwu

Also, in unrelated news, the average time on a wait list in the US for rental assistance is 2.5 years, and 582,000 Americans are experiencing homelessness.

In more unrelated news, the average wait time for a new patient to see a fucking doctor is 26 days.

So much for that wait time argument against socialized medicine.

Xi took off with it on his spy balloon. I saw it from my window when I woke up this morning.

The PLA is reverse engineering it as we speak to learn what not to do when designing planes.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago

I mean I'm sure the $400 billion dollars spent on designing the thing must have created something useful and wasn't just used to line the pockets of executives at Lockheed Martin, right?

The F-35 is genuinely an amazing airplane, even if the American MIC is one of, if not the most, evil organisations on the planet.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago

It has many groundbreaking capabilities like the ability to turn off its transponder and fly itself directly to hainan

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

It's definitely amazing at funneling money into the MIC. The number of crashes and lost planes make me think it isn't great, but being more of a train person I'll admit I don't know much about planes. Not to mention I've heard the carrier version has real problems with salt water degrading the stealth coating, but when has salt water been a problem on the ocean, right?

Can confirm, the plane was snuck into Cuba

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago

Someone in Cuba did the San Andreas jump jet cheat code this morning and the plane teleported to Havana

We trust these people with Nuclear Bombs...

[–] [email protected] 31 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They lose those too! Look up "broken arrow." There's 3 nukes that are just missing and couldn't be found after accidents.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 year ago

so-far 3 that we know of.

It's probably just hidden in the last place they'd ever look: Inside an Ethics textbook.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago

Of course they can't find it, it's a stealth plane

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 year ago

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If not, it was never meant to be.

If the F-35 loved you back, it'd fly back home to base.

This just raises further questions!!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

It had a secret affair with a Chinese spy balloon. Modern day Romeo and Juliet.

It activated stealth mode and manually reduced its RADAR profile into that of a 2D object

VTOL (vertical take off and landing) is still so clumsy, if the US actually had access to Alien tech, you'd think they can have some sort of anti-gravity device. The whole UFO thing by the Government is a big psyop.
