It's definitely amazing at funneling money into the MIC. The number of crashes and lost planes make me think it isn't great, but being more of a train person I'll admit I don't know much about planes. Not to mention I've heard the carrier version has real problems with salt water degrading the stealth coating, but when has salt water been a problem on the ocean, right?
