According to eyewitness accounts, the distress calls made by the Israeli cargo ships were repeatedly rejected by the Chinese warships. This has left many wondering about the reasons behind China’s decision and the potential consequences it may have on the already complex geopolitical situation in the area.

Huh, what ever could it be?

Edit:

The refusal of assistance from Chinese warships has left Israeli officials perplexed and concerned about the implications for future interactions between the two countries.

So I guess Israel assumed that because the US is ok with genocide, everyone would be as well?

Unilateral sanctions hit different when someone is enforcing them on you.

this seems to be fake, so please update the title accordingly

Who would have guessed a site called "countylocalnews" reporting on happenings in the red sea would lie?

OP should really show some more discrimination with their sources. The name alone gives it away as likely an AI mill prone to falsities by virtue of plagiarizing anything it can find or inventing it.

So, did they helped or entire story is just fake and there was either no attack or no Chinese ships nearby?

All I know is that it seems to be an unverified claim by the Pentagon. China has a base in Djibouti so presumably they would have ships nearby

Thanks, kinda pity. Now that i think of it, saving isntreali ships would by no means fall under antipiracy mission, Yemeni forces attacking those ships are in fact humanitarian mission aimed at stopping the genocide.

This "news article" has zero details and links to a twitter status with even less details:

I search around and found two articles, both from "Jewish" sources, both quoting the Pentagon:

  • 2023-11-29 US: China ignored distress calls from hijacked Israeli ship https://www.jns.org/us-china-ignored-distress-calls-of-hijacked-israeli-ship/
    • Chinese naval vessels ignored repeated distress calls from an Israeli-owned commercial tanker that was under attack by suspected Somali pirates on Sunday, according to the Pentagon.

    • Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder confirmed that at least three People’s Liberation Army Navy ships in the area failed to heed the distress calls.

    • “So, my understanding is there were three PLA Navy ships in the vicinity. However, they did not respond. Supposedly, those ships are there as part of a counter-piracy mission, but they did not respond,” said Ryder.

  • 2023-11-29 US: Chinese Navy Ignored Distress Calls of Hijacked Israeli Ship https://www.jewishpress.com/news/global/china/us-chinese-navy-ignored-distress-calls-of-hijacked-israeli-ship/2023/11/29/
    • Chinese naval vessels ignored repeated distress calls from an Israeli-owned commercial tanker that was under attack on Sunday, the Pentagon said on Monday.

This is the source from US DoD:

A single Q&A buried in a long transcript from the US DoD turns into sensationalist title on two "Jewish" news articles two days later, and someone reposts it on twitter 3 weeks later with no details. This is how liberal propaganda works, please don't promote this sort of shitty journalism.

Why would the leader of the Decepticons tweet something that wasn't true? Smh

They're on the take. All the ads are for Leading Brand products-- you can't trust "journalists" in the pocket of Big Bigness.

Respect to China. More honourable than most Arab governments.

Edit: wish it were real

In a neighboring alternate universe, the headlines read something like, "China's warships aggressively approach Jewish cargo ship in Red Sea, US Navy reacts"

Imagine a world war breaking out over a shipment of menorahs and bagels.
