It's not as if we are against "censoring" people based on their politics, the accusation is that they defederated from hexbear for obviously political reasons while claiming to be free speech platforms for everyone

If I had to make up a lie about all the monkeys I killed with my research for a fake sci-fi product, I would not say that they were really sick monkeys. I would probably go with claiming they were extremely racist or sexist, or maybe monkey landlords.

I have heard it argued that it does it better than, for example, Zootopia, but my own experience is kind of the opposite.
