I mean, "lawyer up before talking to the police" is universally good advice.
Yeah, but in this case, they are talking heads with a significant following, and anything they say in public at this point could also come back to bite them in the keister. And given the track record of these people, more than one of them is likely to publicly put feet into mouths long before they talk to a lawyer.
No no, let them exercise their 1st Amendment rights.

Most of these people got into the position of being ruble rubes because they're idiots so luckily they can't help but talk a bunch.
Thing about people like Trump and Musk is they think they’re special and can handle themselves fine without an attorney. And they can’t stop talking.

I doubt any. Leaving these self serving sociopaths out there to use their megaphones to spin various self serving stories just adds to the chaos and confusion, which is the point of these operations. Have people doubt there is an objective truth, so they make up their minds in a way that reinforces their beliefs, entrenching themselves even more.
