Yeah it would be nice if wifi direct was in the app itself, but it only uses the network you're connected to. So if you local send with one phone connected to the other via hotspot (just like wifi direct) then local send will send directly and be faster. When I tried with my laptop and phone it was about 30 MB/s.

Thanks now I'm using FUTO. Very nice design for a FOSS app.

Yeah, there's a bunch of comments I see how people can't ever go back to 60hz after trying 120hz even if it uses more battery. Then when someone says 60hz is fine and not that noticeable of a difference they assume something is wrong with their eyes...

Thanks for the heads up about the issues. I'll probably wait for 10.9.1 too.

Well I did notice it's been hotter lately

I'm lucky to be in Asia since I can easily use redmi phones here (doesn't work well with USA carriers). 3.5mm is still really useful for me, but if there's no more options I'll probably get a 3.5mm to BT adapter.

Open a document and hold down on the page number then drag it to the position you want

I have a cheap no brand of this and while the camera quality is not as good as a phone, it's pretty convenient and faster for bulk scanning.

If you're talking about OSS scanner documents, you can add pages anytime.

It's a media center, you can play your local files or you can use add-ons like the official jellyfin addon and connect to any jellyfin server.

If you're comparing the official jellyfin client apps to kodi, then kodi looks much nicer with more features but requires better hardware. It should work on on your Mac fine but depending on what android tv specs you have it may be a bit slower than the jellyfin client.

Kodi doesn't have a server feature like plex does where you can serve media to other devices. A more direct alternative would be jellyfin, which even works well with kodi as the media player.
