SMT4 on the 3DS. JRPG perfection imo. I love the SMT combination of monster collecting and Fallout type post apocalypse.

Especially when Rust has limited support for less common architectures. This has been forcing distros like gentoo to drop support for more niche arches since many common packages like python-cryptography are now pulling in rust as a mandatory dep.

I used to work in adtech and the most we could do was track locations. Even that didn't work properly for our purposes because most shops are in malls where several different stores co-exist on the same coordinates. It only worked for outlets in retail parks which were separated from one another.
Banning smoking in prisons was insane. It was pioneered by "failing" Chris Greyling and essentially created a whole new category of contraband. I was watching a Business Insider doc on youtube about this and a former prisoner was saying that since this policy came into place, a pack of cigarettes is now valued at hundreds of pounds when traded between prisoners.
There is the famous Yes, Minister argument about smokers being a net postitive for the NHS given that they are likely to die younger of smoking related diseases instead of requiring expensive care for more complex diseases later in life.

I don't think people in the UK care about this though. People seem to be consistently in favour of banning anything that they don't personally partake in. This is despite the fact that smoking rates are at their lowest levels ever and still falling.
Labour are looking for a policy which is cheap for them to implement but has some popular support so they can basically say, "look at us; we're governing!"
Yes, you're right, from my understanding nothing is in the kernel. Was more referring to the "re-write in rust!!" meme but admittedly that's a strawman.
UB is only one class of error you can get in a big, complex program. Re-writing functionality opens the door to every other potential class of error too.
I liked the approach the kernel devs were taking where rust modules were being integrated without the 'core' code being touched. I think people who want a complete re-write of everything (if they exist outside of my convenient straw man) are probably better off starting a fresh kernel project.

Apologies for the slightly skewed picture. I actually own this artwork. A close family friend has been collecting 19th Century Japanese woodcuts his entire life, and he gifted this one of a wedding scene to my wife and I when we got married.
More details about the work. The artist Kunisada lived from 1786 to 1864 and he shared a studio / teacher with the (perhaps more famous) artist Kuniyoshi. This work was published by Hayashiya Shogoro in 1850.
The work depicts a Kabuki theatre scene; traditional Japanese theatre. Actors are playing the roles of Aburu-ya Oshin and Fukuoka Mitsugi in the play Ise Ondo. In this scene the couple are getting married.

Dread is fantastic but they really focused on the action elements of Metroid. This is fine since there are other games that focus on exploration but the stuff it does really well are things like boss fights. The last boss in particular is phenomenal.
