The rules and the preferences of the judges or what has not won before makes Game of the Year look kinda like shit. Like indie games and fps games without narrative have no chance?
Man really wants that AI hype money.
Never could get into that game, I do like deep systems but not so much path of exiles where you pretty much create a character that is useless then you have to make a new one and follow a guide. I do appreciate it's existence but I liked torchlights more casual gameplay and aesthetic.
It's sad we dont' have torchlight anymore
How has this game not made enough money to finish it off and finish off their last half baked game too?
They will start yapping when they want to sell stuff to you or act "progressive"
Dave the Diver doesn't strike me as a game that was rapidly made and I also don't trust Nexon.
Hah I'm still chewing through Dark Messiah, I want to get to Arx eventually too. Maybe try Dark Messiah, it mostly feels pretty modern and impressively immersive.
Weird list that's for sure but at least it's got a decent amount of indie games. Not many classics or older games.
Christ what a soulless anti human, and these people infest and run AAA companies. Would explain the rot behind those companies for the last 2 decades.
That's just sad when you make something great and the trillion dollar monopoly just doesn't care because it's trying to save money and this isn't a live service garbage or a big AAA ip.
Chasing graphics has lead to directions nobody could predict and I'm glad I don't play these games.
