Imaginary is a poor name for them because it implies they dont exist. Complex numbers is more appropriate

Banning people for downvoting posts seems like an overstep of position

There is a small vocal minority that essentially equates anyone who keeps eating meat regardless of circumstances, preference or nuance, [to killers, murderers, etc]. Honestly a large amount of people would take a vegan option if it tasted the same, had the same texture, was as cheap or cheaper than meat, was as accessible, and didn't require learning a new skill set. There's also the availability when eating out.

Antagonizing people like that is a good way to have them disagree out of spite, and the militant vegans always have a way of inserting themselves into every conversation. I had to block people on lemmy because I just didnt want to deal with that here.

Unfortunately a vegan who is a good person isn't alwayd out there proselytizing at every chance they get in a non intrusive manner, so people rarely if ever see vegans who are reasonable people relative to vegan extremists.

Part of it was to create new jobs and hire people, meanwhile they - *checks notes* - fired a bunch of people?

Hell, some companies will still hire pinkertons

CS2 is at least 1 blatant cheater every match that I play (spinbot, anti-aim, walls, aimhack). They react to things they cant see, shoot you through a smoke and a wall with no hesitation and generally dont hide it that well. You can even watch the demo back to see them lock onto someone they havent heard or seen through the wall and follow them perfectly, reacting to what the other player does without seeing or hearing it. Vac has been a joke for years and even now with "Vac 3.0" i havent seen a single person get banned

People don't have the skill or don't want to put in the effort to do or get something so they cheat instead

Sometimes other people are cheating so they rage hack in response

And some people just like to make other people mad to laugh at them

One thing I'm not a fan of is the argument that "it is what you make of it," because platforms act entirely differently depending on the other users, the algorithms, methods of interaction, interface, content and culture. Its very difficult for me to to have a good time on facebook because it fails in a lot of those aspects: toxic users, algorithms tbat push nonsense, a bad interface, incompatible content and culture. The general theme is that many social media sites end up being very polarizing and echo chambery.

When opening links in comments, it collapses the comment.

Additionally, links in comments can take 30-60s to open after tapping them. When long pressing and then tapping open in browser, the link opens immediately. Similar behavior observed when opening some link posts - tapping post to open the link can take a while, while directly selecting the option is almost immediate.

This also means that several copies of the link open up and must each individually be closed
