I have a network scanner on my phone. It's off. You may take the bother of physically disconnecting it if you want, but personally I'll keep my warranty.

Mine had an off button (key combo). Check the manual of the model before purchase. Never had to give it another thought.

I hate your analysis, and not because you're wrong.

Not since SCOTUS gutted the voting rights act.

Copious amounts of gums and max overruns (adding air) together result in softer texture when frozen, which the average consumer likes, and higher yields, which the producer likes.

Essentially you're buying 40% air with most brands, and the other 60% is not entirely cream & sugar & flavors. Try gelato or a local producer.

I'm not in part of the world where telegram is more commonplace but from an outside prospective I've always kind of held the opinion it's more for fringe groups and users who have reasons to hide their conversations. Thinking back that may be largely due to the lack of moderation and it being mentioned in the same sentence as some illegal activities. I can't say whether any of this is true but my uninformed opinion is built upon its association with other unsavory parts of the internet, real or not.

Sounds like they have a nazi bar problem, and their actions welcome it. No thanks.

Our car has an awful sound system. I swear there are frequencies simply missing, and that transforms music in ways that are impossible to miss.

Or one would think, but my spouse doesn't care at all. I offered to go through the trouble of upgrading the entire thing -- receiver, dsp, amp, speakers, adding a sub -- but they said no, why bother? Almost makes me weep when some of my favorites play on the radio.

Pi Hole successfully blocks all that.

Note I have my router redirecting all requests to port 53 (DNS) to the pi hole for those things that don't obey the DHCP DNS. Not sure if Roku is one of those offenders, but I haven't seen a Roku ad in years.

Yeah... that's a bit of a stretch to me, but an interesting interpretation I had not imagined. Good to have some insight in to how others think. Thanks for sharing that.
