I'm not at all sure he can play "tough". It's a lot easier to do when not actually facing the opponent. I predict that he'll attempt to make a joke of it all and complain about something irrelevant. Unless of course he's all drugged up. Then nobody can predict how fucking weird he's going to be.

The thumbnail looks like the bad Jesus restauration.

It's filtered, but that's it.

Drillings aren't allowed near graveyards or other polluted properties.

The reason for restrictions in Denmark is to protect our clean ground water. If people could just place dead corpses or ashes everywhere, the drinking water would be polluted with heavy metals and other chemicals.

That's the other way. English got a lot of words from the vikings.

No. Mayhem's house is said to have been close to Oslo.

OPs picture is a stock photo from a small city further north, Flåm by Sognefjord.

Great picture.

I don't know if minimalistic cubism exist as a photographic art form, but it should.

Perhaps someone could make a business of it then.

Chromebooks sold well enough. Google made $30 billion on that in 2023.

Anyone willing to put together a physical Linux machine, market and support it could take a chunk of that.

It would be nice if it was possible to simply go to a website, check off on the stuff you want and then get a full package.

I liked the idea of AV Linux, because it comes in a bundle of stuff that I need, but it also comes with a lot stuff that I don't need, and I'm not sure the desktop is my choice. It also didn't really work at the time I tried it.(Some years ago).

So.. if I, a stupid user, could simply go to a website, check mark at the desktop, check off which office package, music apps, browser, etc.etc. and then get a download of that in one go where it's all set-up and works, it would be a lot easier than having to go through the process of installing the OS and then installing/removing apps, and then making it work..

Like, let's say I want a PC just for music creation, I should be able to download the the OS with the DAW of my choice, all the VSTis and potentially also the most common free sound banks. In one file.

If I wanted an office PC, I should be able to get the OS, the office suite of choice and all the misc. PDF tools, email client and whatnot of choice. All in one go.

Windows and macOS sort of came with everything before, but these days they're just as annoying to set up as any Linux distribution. Linux as a whole could take advantage of that situation by offering a prepackaged but custom installation.

Of course it would also help if someone made a Linux installer for windows, so users didn't have to use windows to create a bootable USB. I think this is the step that normal users hesitate on. I don't know if it's possible, but it ought to be possible from software to partion the disc and install dual boot or something.

It definitely exists in Canada. Mostly in condos, where it makes sense.

The issue in USA is that they have many more gated communities where the HOAs have way too much power to "manage" the community.

A bottle of Jack Daniels costs about DKK400 on Greenland. That's about $60. It's tax free though.

People do drink less than the average in EU, but despite this, alcoholism and drug abuse are serious issues on Greenland.

How do I best view tabs from pages like ultimate guitar and others on a phone browser, so that the chords and lyrics match up? I know on pc they usually show up fine in notepad or with ASCII fixed sys font, but I can't quite figure out how to set it up for easy browsing on an android phone. I tried copying it to other apps but none of them have a fixed width font.

How do you do it?

Denmark just had the national entry contest today.

The winner was Saba with the song "Sand". Linked in the post.

The top three final also included the 2014 winner Basim with the song "Johnny" and Janus Wiberg from Faroe Islands with the song "I need your love". Both received more audience votes than the winner, but the jury votes had put Saba ahead from the start.

I am restoring an old chest and while removing a cover under the lid I found this label. As you can see, it's completely undecipherable except for "***halle & co." However there's another label underneath it. I wonder if I can separate them by putting it in water (like stamps off an envelope), but I'm afraid of destroying it if it has any value whatsoever.

The chest is made of wood and metal, but it's in a horrible state. Hinges and screws have been replaced prior to my owning, and the wood is damaged. I plan on restoring it, but would like to know it's history. Judging by materials and the label, I recon this is from 1900-1940s and American.

Now, I've been to many concerts and even several blur concerts, but this one felt .. special. Even better than the Hyde park concerts 10+ years ago. Anyone else there?

To me it was like watching their proudest achievement and also delivering on it. Maybe I'm just in awe of the brimfull Wembley stadium shouting along on Park Life, but it definitely felt like this was the final grand stadium concert. I've seen Aerosmith, Green Day, Guns'n'Roses and other larger bands on a full arenas before, but those didn't even come close to this. Despite everything being extremely professionally and on time, they managed to break the wall between the stage and the 90000 in audience.

I'm not even a blur fan as such, but I do acknowledge that their contribution to music is way way underappreciated, or maybe it actually isn't?

The warm-ups sucked, but I think those were a local thing, but the main band really came across brilliantly. I dunno..this was beyond just great, and I have no hopes of ever seeing anything this grand again.
