Debian Stable + flatpaks. If I were to install it again, I would probably use spiral Linux.

I've moved to cachyOS, I've been getting into running local AI, and they offer an optional prebuilt SDK.

(with Debian I would have to install CUDA myself, which would cause issues on kernel updates)

The blockchaim & finance topic doesn't really affect me, as long as I can use it for watching videos then it works. (and I'm not helping google)

In regards to the hate content, I would rather have the ability to self censor these things (mute/block) then have the platform itself decide what I am allowed to see.

Ive been using these front ends for a while now and there are constant issues.

Ive switched to http://odysee.com

its now ad free, and Ive found that: mental outlaw, Louis Rossman, someordinarygamers, Brodie Robertson, tech lore, switched to linux, the Linux cast and loads of others are also on the platform.

  1. Launch your browser.

  2. Right-click on your toolbar to open toolbar settings.

  3. Click on Customize Toolbar.

  4. A new page with a list of items will open that you can drag into the toolbar.

  5. Click on the Add-on and drag it into your toolbar.

adding extensions would alter the fingerprint - removing the ability to blend in with the herd which is the whole goal of mullvad browser.

Sounds like librewolf is for you!

Does anyone know of a website that recommends music based off a chosen song, that is also open source?

I'm sure I had one bookmarked but I can't seem to find it.

Cheers

Ive been runing Debian 12 (kde) since bookworm was released and am loving it.

I have recently discovered Devuan which seems to be Debian without systemd - what is the benefit of removing this init system?
