Yeah, I was just pulling your leg. Being a goofy goober. Why would you read this very specific list of games and think I was earnest?

Tomb raider had infinitely many rumours about a nude-cheat because boys were so thirsting about Lara Croft, while Metroid and Shantae reward fast playthroughs with bikini pics.

Man, am I glad I grew up with less horny games. Like Tomb raider, Metroid or Shantae.

The real reason is probably that we said comparable stuff, just as whispers and not written in an anonymous forum. And we weren't even egged on by forum culture or our games to be as horny as possible, the former drives engagement while the ladder drives sales.

A few years back, I would have said that they are trying to uphold the image of democracy. "Vote for Harris, a guy you've never heard of or this criminal, your choice" isn't a good look... sad that we ended up here anyway.

Probably also trying to avoid the headache of "what happens when a candidate is sent to prison". That's either going to be a lot of work for you or someone you know higher up, who isn't going to like that paperwork, especially such a high profile case.

Wenn man mich schon den link selber abtippen lässt, kann man ja zumindest einen Font verwenden, bei dem l und I nicht identisch aussehen.

There are about 2000 wild tiger left, I found this article from 2011 saying that they might be extinct in the wild by 2030.

So there might be 2000 ecological niches for smilodon to fill in 5 years. We better hurry then.

You cannot make the Minecraft movie nowadays.... you simply cannot, Warner Bros.

  • Step 1: acquire genetic material
  • Step 2: supplement material with closely related extant species <- We are here
  • Step 3: Get an egg cell with your Frankenstein-DNA to survive and divide
  • Step 4: Produce a healthy baby
  • Step 5: Get a small population in a Zoo/Park
  • Step 6: have a permanent wild population in a specific area
  • Step 7: have enough of those areas to declare repopulation a success

Is fixating on the mammoths here first-world centrism? The article mentions 4 other species that have way better chances. Also, given how far we are from actual wild mammoths, that "it can solve climate change" argument is just wrong the way it's been presented.

I don't, if that question really is honest. (But also not in the US)

But you really shouldn't be surprised, most people live in major cities.

...do your legs fall off once you've given birth or why is being a mother a factor?

Also, I'm pretty sure most 40 year olds are still able to bike perfectly fine. That's the stereotypical age range for picking up jogging, right?

But they're right, the priority is having a working tram/bus network, and having safe lanes for (e-)bikes as an extension of that system.

Maybe because you stole Gods own stock photos.

Says right there: "@alla(h)". This is your divine punishment, repent sinner!

Got into 3D-printing a few years back. Intended to print some replacement parts, a few decorations and gadgets, and took care to not waste too much plastic. In the internet, there are pages dedicated to 3d models other people have printed. They were always a good inspiration on what could be done, and even if the model isn't exactly what you wanted, it was always a functioning prototype to test with.

Since last year, multicolour printers have gained popularity. They automatically change between 2 different colours, but to make sure nothing of the old colour is left in the system, every time they change it they print out a few grams of waste product.

It's a waste indeed if you look at the "poop bucket" of anyone who uses these types of printers. Idc if it's only the "technically recycleable PLA" they use, I don't like it. And now I have to manually filter out those models, and they can fill an entire page depending on what's the new trend right now.

Thought about comparing different modes of transport, but realized it would be way too subjective. For example, if 5 km are in biking range is dependent on biking infrastructure, available public transport, how in shape you are...

But then I realized I can just simplify all these things away to get the optimal transportation flowchart. Simple is always better, right?
