Anime Trending had the exclusive opportunity to interview COVER Corp. CEO Motoaki Tanigo, affectionately known as “YAGOO,” about the VTuber industry and hololive’s latest mixed media projects.

Reminds me of Don't Fear the Reaper

What's up with the android beef? I hadn't heard about that one 😅

Now, being part of hololive with my Rosarians [The Bloodflame Kingdom] by my side, gaming feels like a much more enjoyable experience. I still don’t consider myself “a gamer,” but I enjoy it nonetheless.

Interesting how her streams are basically [always one out of] singing, games, or superchat readings, but she still doesn't take the label.

Fair point, but I guess I would hope that the person being paid to write the copy would check it, since getting that right seems like it's part of their job description ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Or 53.6 degrees Fahrenheit if you believe whoever wrote the page for Nissan lmao. I guess they just typed it into a converter with no context, and the converter spat out an answer amounting to "if your thermometer says it's 12 degrees C, that would be 53.6 degrees F"... but without that context.

Frothing at the mouth, what a way to go lol

Yeah, I'm saying you (as in "a person", not you-you) could pick a few from these 50 - I'm not saying start reading 50 books and only finish the ones you like lol. I'd guess "experts" might pick a few of the titles different from popular ratings so there's probably some meaningful differences vs "goodreads top 50 books by Australian authors", but I'm not an avid reader so idk, maybe you'd have a better idea 😅

I guess for those who don't read much it can give you an initial filter to use and then you can just pick a few that tickle your fancy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know it all just boils down to cost-benefit analysis in the end, but I'm still understandably a little skeptical haha

To an extent, the report already agrees with you, as quoted in the article:

2024 opens a new chapter for the Reef. Future warming already locked into the climate system means that further degradation is inevitable. This is the sobering calculus of climate change.

Not sure whether it agrees to the point of voluntary suicide as a stake, but it's not an area I know much about. From the report:

A vigilant, proactive and optimistic approach to management remains crucial. The Reef may be forever changed, but it has various possible futures. Choices made today can lead to vastly different outcomes — the path that unfolds will be shaped by the actions of many.

The future Reef will be altered by climatic changes already in motion, but just as every increment of warming compounds impacts, every effective action taken now contributes to a more positive long-term outlook.
