Those are the ones that are covered. I know for a fact that there is one that didn't make this list https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/last-72-hours

Bluesky isn't a terrible Twitter alternative, but it's not federated. Mastodon is fine, but I've had a much harder time staying engaged there.

Decent backup plan.

End of life care the distant relative swoops in and says "we want to do everything possible to keep them alive" keeping the patient on life support until their organs give out.

Taxing the shit out of him would probably work pretty well too.

There's something weird going on with tajin. I like the basic idea of it, salt, chilli powder, some cayenne for heat, pepper, garlic, onion, maybe some lime/lemon. But there is something extra in tajin that doesn't mix well with my taste buds.

Nearly 20 years of watching someone else do that job, no thanks. Takes a special person to deal with all of that. Thanks for taking one for the team.

It may not be hating to work with patients, but the kind of work with the patients. A lot of people have no idea how much booty wiping and baths are required when you're a nurse taking care of really sick patients. There's also the "daughter from California" issue. There is a lot of literal and figurative shit healthcare providers have to put up with. Some people are in it because the paychecks are really pretty solid.

I like the nice clear picture this one paints of the situation, getting all the major relevant facts laid out without a lot of fluff.

"I think there's a big misconception that people need food to survive. The money we spend on those resources could easily go to a Christian school via a voucher system so rich families can recoup their tax dollars and low and middle income families can continue to struggle."- the people who oppose school lunches.

I was at a hardware store yesterday, locally owned. I didn't look at the hours before I walked in but they started turning off lights within a few minutes of me walking in, so I walked out without buying anything and went to a big box store. I want to support the little guys, and I respect the time of the workers, but at some point I need to get the stuff I need and my hours at work to align exactly with the hours of the little guys. 🤷
