A slow lap can be done by driving through the pits (or is there some other alternative road?). A car has to do a slow lap if he did not have DRS for 2 laps while the car following did have DRS.
DRS time can be extended to 2 or 3 seconds.
Joost goes emotionally deep at the end of his performance and he needs time to recover when leaving the stage. After rehearsals the team had already discussed it with production team and it was agreed that he would not be filmed. Then on Thursday after the second semi-final, it happened anyway and he pushed the phone-camera away. Interesting: although the Dutch news outlets carry extensive messages about Karim B and his escape, none of them mention that it was him threatening Princess Amalia or PM Rutte. Amalia actually went to Spain to study because of the increased danger in Amsterdam. And then they find Karim B. also in Spain....

Then, on the 57th lap, McLaren's David Coulthard suddenly had to swerve around Fernando Alonso approaching the chicane, and spun into retirement. “Alonso braked ten metres earlier than he had the lap before,” said Coulthard. “He was dealing inconsistently with problems, as his rear tyres looked completely worn out. But I just got caught out.”[citation needed] The Spaniard continued, and was very nearly caught on the final lap by the recovering world champion. The stewards investigated the incident after a report was filed to them by the FIA race director Charlie Whiting. They spoke to both Alonso and Coulthard and members of their respective teams. After a review of telemetry and video data, no driver was imposed a penalty.
