Insta for reels, FB for groups / family, and YouTube for entertainment/learning.

UnRAID uses Slackware under the hood, I've had lots of trouble trying to use the shell and install packages and init scripts. I wish it was Debian based instead so my knowledge would transfer.

c/ for community

But linking to communities needs the exclamation point and the server instance too

Sandbox games, back in the day I would be creative and have fun playing these but now I prefer watching someone else do that.

Pvp/story games I enjoy playing though.

This, it ruins the surprise a bit but also ensures you'll hear a "yes"

Edit: also I went with a brilliant earth fake diamond ring, but you could save $ and go for moissanite

Caesar with anchovies, or a good vinaigrette for a non-caeser salad.

My fps tanks, but I'm using an Nvidia card. Max 30fps when I can get 90 on Windows.

Also the Xbox integration for the party system took a long time to fix. Maybe just a Pop_OS issue tho

Instead of biting my nails or playing with a fidget toy, is there a skill I can learn/practice?

Like rolling a pen/coin through my fingers or something like that.

I currently live in California, but it's literally impossible to afford to buy a house.

Where are some good places to move to? I was thinking about Washington State, but I'm not sure I could handle the snow.

I'm old enough to know that I should put them on 1 leg at a time, but I never got out of the habit.

When scrolling Lemmy (compared to reddit in the past), all I see is doom and gloom / news. I don't see interesting conversations or comments to read.

Occasionally I'll find something, and I've been contributing more, but there's just so much doom that it fills my feed.

I've had to unsubscribe from many communities bc it's just doom news reposts..

Is it just me?

They keep raising prices, stating that it's due to inflation, but then they keep having record profits.

Meanwhile, the average American can barely afford rent or food nowadays.

What are we to do? Vote? I have been but that doesn't seem to do much since I'm just voting for a representative that makes the actual decisions.

Right before I fall asleep, I'll remember some random details of a dream I had when I was 5-10 years old. It changes each night, but never is a newer dream.

Does that happen to anyone else?

I tried commenting on a post, but I was unable to because of a language error. My Lemmy profile is set to undefined because if it’s set English than I apparently will be missing some posts, so I think this community should be the same way.

Thoughts?
