I apologize, i tend to only post when i drink and thats when the barrier that prevents me from being social is gone.

The only thing i need to say is listen to her newest deluxe album . If you're 4 songs in amd don't like it? Drop it.

This is why i think people should check out her newest album. Radio will only play her poppyist hit songs. She only has like a lot of top charting pop songs.

Shes a lot more mature with her music the last few years and it shows, just listen to her newest album you will see a difference from your expectations.

They dont play her newest music because its not pop enough. But to each their own. You're missing out though.

So you already listened to her newest album right, right?

Even as a teen i liked her, but i grew up in Nashville and i know people who wemt to school with her, so we have a kevin bacon number of two.

Uh excuse me, grown ass men in their 30s, which is what i am, listening to taylor swift is an unpopular opinion, that doesn't mean its factual, just un popular.

But since you like my girl swifty whatd your favorite album/ song

Edit; spelling

Actually i think down bad would be the best introduction of taylor swift now. Its folky popy and she says fuck a bunch, so its a great starting point that ignored her younger country times.

I dont mean her presidential recommendation, no i am talking of her latest album. Its easily her best and its neither super poppy nor country. So during covid she got into folk music, and she just became more somber and mature almost overnight. There is a reason more older people listen vs teens. Shes older now, 34, and makes music for her age group but everyone assume she stills aim at teenager girls.

You could go to her newest albums and only listen to her explicit tracks to get the most change, but thats not all she is either.

Im no pro on music, i check spotify on Fridays and listen what instrested me, mostly rap but whatever. But im a die hard swiftie

Yeah but is it against the rules to be an asshole or a crybaby ? I tend to say stupid shit when drinking and have gotten a ban and a few comments and posts deleted, but it would be a shame for something minor to get me a bigger ban or what not.

So i think everyone who isnt morally corrupt knows trump doesnt need to be reelected. So everyone needs to get behind biden then name a movement after him that also smears his name.

The biden plan should include an automatic impeachment poll for every office every political vote. That way if there is ever a time a politician doesnt follow through with his promises he can be elected out more promptly.

Yes i did think about our president while showering

President Biden has invoked executive privilege to block House Republicans from obtaining audio recordings of his interviews with special counsel Robert Hur over his handling of classified documents.

The move comes just hours before House Republicans are set to meet to consider resolutions to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for failing to turn over the files which had been subpoenaed by the House Judiciary and Oversight committees.

“Because of the President’s longstanding commitment to protecting the integrity, effectiveness, and independence of the Department of Justice and its law enforcement investigations, he has decided to assert executive privilege over the recordings,” White House counsel Ed Siskel wrote in a letter obtained by The Hill.

Siskel also called into question the motives of Republicans seeking the recordings.

“The absence of a legitimate need for the audio recordings lays bare your likely goal—to chop them up, distort them, and use them for partisan political purposes,” Siskel wrote. “Demanding such sensitive and constitutionally-protected law enforcement materials from the Executive Branch because you want to manipulate them for potential political gain is inappropriate.”

The transcript of Biden’s interview with Hur, which took place over two days last October, was also released to House Republicans ahead of the special counsel’s public testimony on Capitol Hill in March.

The content makes clear the interview has little to do with the GOP’s purported interest in obtaining the audio files, which they argue could offer clues for their impeachment investigation.

While Hur’s report 345-page concluded no charges should be brought against the president, its descriptions of Biden’s memory lapses and the description of the president as a well-meaning, elderly man” set off a political firestorm.

Among other instances, Hur cited Biden’s 2017 conversations with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer, which the special counsel described as “painfully slow, with Mr. Biden struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.”

The White House had pushed back hard against Hur’s inclusion of those details, calling them gratuitous and highlighting Biden’s willingness to voluntarily sit for an interview. But Hur has stressed that he needed to explain in his report how he came to the conclusion not to recommend charges.

Siskel noted in his letter to House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and House Oversight and Accountability Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) that Biden did not assert privilege over any part of Hur’s lengthy report.

I was a huge anime fan back when i was younger, around 2017ish i switched to reading a lot of light novels instead. So hundreds of books later im having more issues finding anything to read. But i also have a lack of interest for non anime books and its rather annoying. I read through a song of ice and fire a while ago and loved it. I planned to delve into more american literature at the time, yet i went straight back to the same old stuff, light novels.

Im hoping i can get recommendations and let peer pressure kick in to give some books a shot! So if anyone could point me in any direction to go id appreciate it.

This might just sound like the same old shit others voice with the recent gaza genocide, but ive hated israel for far longer. In high school i read a book called the olive grove, its based on a true story of a Palestinian family that lost every thing to the zionist movement. It follows 3 generation of the family from the first world war till after the second. It tells of the horrors they faced by the us backed terrorists taking their home and land turning away from the atrocities being committed. Its heart breaking, and when i read it in 2009 i didnt fully understand but seeing all the shit done now, i just think this cycle of hate started and can not be stopped.

Idk what else to say, i mean i could go on and on but i dont have the mental capacity to do so while drinking. I recommend others to read the book, it was a very good read when i was a high schooler and i plan to start it again as soon as i can find my copy.

Here is a link to the book if anyone is interested in reading it https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2327988.The_Olive_Grove
