u/Wallygator88 is letting me use his Hawk V3. Really a great and intuitive shaver; I immediately found the angle and had a great shave. Thanks Wally! This is the fifth AC safety razor I've used (the other ones being u/Semaj3000's wife's aluminium Hawk V2, u/J33pGuy13's brass Colonial General, u/VisceralWatch's aluminium WR4 and u/Wallygator88's Alumigoose).
The Alumigoose is still my favourite, I think, so I guess I'll have to keep my eyes open for one ot pop up on the 'zaar or eBay. These things are rare, though.

Superb! As the shave went on I switched to cold water since the weather is warming up. I like cold water shaves a lot.

I needed to be quick today, but for me that just meant don't daydream and waste time with extra steps. Wonderful shave with the scent that's the answer to "life, the universe, and everything".
