I just deleted my 12 year old account and removed by bookmark for Reddit. My current main account will be deleted soon.

I didn't delete my comments, they're welcome to keep that pile of rubbish. (Though the black swan story did get a bit of traction, even a vague death threat!)

If it matters, every comment you let them keep is free content that Google uses to drive traffic to them. It is free media. They technically pay you with your ability to converse on the site. I’ve been deleting all my comments and not just the ones you can find by going through your post history.
