The first commit was on Feb 14 2019. Amazing what @[email protected] and the team have managed to build, attracting a great community along.

I had heard about lemmy a while back, but after having tried mastadon I thought Lemmy was just another Twitter clone so I did not try it until the api debacle.

I never knew the initial commit was on Valentine's Day. Also, very based how the very first commit is just the AGPL-3 license.
