Just popped up in my feed. I loved Starship Troopers as a kid, not knowing the satire underneath. Anyways, it's a nice interview.

I don't think so, but I've only seen the movies. 2 and 3 were fine, if you go in knowing they don't have most of the same cast. My standard for sci-fi movies is pretty low, but I had fun. I also like the Tremors movies, though, so YMMV.
