This is really a shame. Insurgency is one of the best FPS games I’ve ever played
They are restructuring and thankfully not fully closing down.
I would take that as an euphemism. NWI is just a shell of its past self anyway.

Its kinda perfect down the middle.
Speed and movement like a COD. Very crisp and fluid and fast.
Damage like a sim. Single shot kills, no kill feed or hit markers etc.
Well said. I'll add it has a "hardcore" mode where movement is slower. Gear tends toward realism.
The atmosphere feels very authentic. Audio is best in class (minus the audio bugs). Players have access to a voice wheel to say specific things, it's very useful and awesome as the voice lines vary depending on the situation (i.e. screaming the line while under fire).
