Yeah I agree, I feel like a lot of the characters in Reignited seemed a bit watered down in some way. The PS1 characters and voice lines just had this special charm to them that I find to be lacking in Reignited. If I remember correctly some jokes also didn't land as well compared to the original because of the way they did the delivery.
