Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but why is the "upgraded" model more limited? (lemmy.ca)

The upgraded model has the same low-end adjustability and a wider wide vs the old style. Yet, it's only compatible with 27.5 - 29"?

Yeah I would say that's a typo. I assume it does the same as the one on the left but up to a larger max size

That's what I think, too. I see no reason to go with the old style, since it's like a few dollars less.
