If you want to be a girl, you are one.
It took me a while to understand what people meant by that (or maybe I just couldn't accept it?). The difference between "I'm a girl and I like it", and "I want to be a girl" is simply one of perspective.

No gatekeepers with valid opinions at least.
I made this meme to challenge my own doubt in 2022, and I'm honestly proud of it. However, I wanted to wait till I was more certain before coming out, so I tried to affirm myself in subtle ways. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how much dysphoria negatively affects me, so my mental health plummeted to the worst it's ever been.
Don't be like me and wait for impossible certainty. You won't magically have a moment where all doubts disappear. Logic can't help you, you need to listen to what feels most comfortable. I only knew I made the right choice after I took that leap.

I have searched for the specific barbie movie I had in mind and I can't seem to find it. I just remember that barbie was like exploring some castle like thing because she was sent there alone. She walked around and then in one big room, the floor opened up and had a circular magical hole in it, which led to a different world where the grass was minty green and I love that sort of stuff
